After the trampoline was taken down, a family in Bedfordshire decided to make use of a now empty space and build a garden entertainment room complete with an amazing bar area.

With the children growing up and the well-used trampoline not needed anymore, we were contacted by a family in Bedfordshire to design and build an entertainment room to be able to make the most of the garden and to fill the space left behind.
After shopping around to get some ideas on what could be done, we were asked to design a garden room to use as the ultimate garden entertainment room.
With a real passion for all things gaming, the space needed to be able to accommodate their arcade machines, a full size pool table and a TV area for watching sport.
After visiting us and seeing first hand what can be achieved, they were inspired by our beautiful bar with shelving and built in fridge which we’ve constructed in our showroom and decided they wanted a similar design.
“As a sports mad family we wanted somewhere that we could all spend time doing the things we love most together in one space”
After spending time with the customer to understand exactly what they wanted and needed from a garden room so that it utilised every bit of space, our design team came up with the ideal solution.
A large 6m x 5m footprint would give them plenty of space for all their entertaining and family time.
The large uPVC French doors would allow for plenty of light to fill the room.
Finished with grey Hardie plank outside and oak laminate flooring inside, the room has a modern feel with a clean and low maintenance finish.
“The bar is the real talking point when anybody comes around. It’s like being in a real pub!”
“Being able to use every bit of space has allowed us to be able to get a garden room that the whole family can enjoy – all year round”.
From what started out as a room that the kids could use as their own space turned into a stunning area that can be used by everyone.
Unused corners of the garden are often forgotten areas that just become wasted but with a little bit of creativity can become the hub of family life.
