It was such a joy bringing our lovely and talented client’s vision of a garden art studio to life.
Read on for full details of this stunning project.
Residing in the beautiful county of Hertfordshire, this client wanted us to design a fully installed garden room to become her own personal artist’s haven!
So we began the exciting task of creating this charming garden art studio.
First, we scheduled our complimentary site visit to the client’s property. This is a vital step in our process as it gives us an opportunity to see the garden area in person and therefore determine the perfect spot for their garden room to be placed.
Then we invited our client and her husband into our show room, located in Stagsden, Bedfordshire, to take a look at our designs and quality of workmanship for themselves.
After coming in and having a look at the variety of garden rooms bespoke specs and finishes we offer, we were thrilled to hear she was ready to get the build started!
We invited her in for one last show room visit to go over the final finishing choices and ensure every detail of the room was exactly as she envisioned it to be.
Next, our projects team scheduled in the build dates and ordered all the materials needed for this unique and bespoke build, whilst client services went over the project timeline with our client to ensure she was in the loop from beginning to end.
A service level that we pride ourselves on here at Haon Garden Rooms!
Circling back to the finishing’s, we strive to provide plenty of high quality final finishing options to choose from.
This includes not only the exterior, but the interior of their garden room too!
For the exterior design of this compact garden art studio, cedar brown composite cladding was chosen for the front, and anthracite Hardie plank to the sides and rear.
As for decking, our client wanted minimal decking and requested just a slender piece across the front expanse of the room acting as a seamless step into the space, in the ever-popular GreyArt decking.
With a gorgeous wood-grain textured finish, this compliments the cedar brown composite cladding perfectly.
Since this room is on the smaller scale, we were able to source more slender Bi-Folding doors, and wow these are stunning!
They are the perfect size for this space, allowing plenty of natural light to stream in whilst our client paints in the privacy of her own garden.
And how beautiful are these pieces of art? All painted by our lovely client herself!
The silver grey oak flooring combined with the bright white furniture, green and gold accent pieces, and the pair of fuzzy white chairs, create a charming interior design that truly feels like an artist’s dreamy, creative space.
It’s always such a pleasure to design and build garden rooms to enjoy and explore hobbies, and inspire to create artwork in so many different forms.

‘From beginning to end absolutely brilliant. The room is just perfect. I would have another one built if I could!’
